Description
In the morning, this siamang cub with his family came down from the escarpment and closer to the edge of the jungle to feed on fruit. Siamangs are listed as endangered on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species because their habitat in Indonesia and Malaysia is increasingly being destroyed to make way for palm oil plantations. Palm oil is also used as a component of diesel fuel.
